I need to replace the baffle on my Clearview vision 500 stove how easy is it to remove and replace the baffle, do I need to employ a registered fitter or can this be done easily?

We sell the baffles, you can order on our website, they are relatively easy. The two side bricks need to be taken out - also the log retainer first, then you should be able to lift the baffle out.  Obviously then put back the way it was taken out.

Hope this helps.

The inner glass in a Clearview 500 has gone cloudy is this a deposit or has the surface been etched... . Can it be cleaned off or is it necessary to buy a new glass?

Hi There,

Sorry have been away for a couple of days.  If the glass has gone cloudy and milky then you would need to replace the glass, however,  if the inner glass looks smokey it might be that some residue of ash has gone in between the two pieces of glass, this can be rectified by taking the door off, and cleaning the glass in between making sure that the rope is sealing the two pieces of glass together, so that nothing can drop down in between.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Which way does the Clearview Vision 500 front bar face? Or does it depend upon the fuel or personal preference?

The 45 degree angle should slope backwards.
