The Town and Country multi-fuel stoves, designed by Alan and Philip Thurlow, have a clean burn system. This involves allowing the flow of hot air over the glass door to keep the glass clean.

Manufactured in Pickering, using only top quality British materials, and with British castings for the doors to bring out the detail.

List of features for the Runswick multi-fuel stove:

  • Multi-fuel
  • Height 555mm, Width 380mm, Depth 225mm
  • Maximum output 4 kw
  • Flue 6 inch diameter
  • Flue outlet rear
  • Body: Steel
  • Colour options: Black

An inset stove which will fit into a standard 16" fire opening, no need to alter the fire back. An easy way to turn an open fire into an efficient stove.

The multi-fuel grates will burn wood or solid fuel without any alteration to the stove or grate. If using logs, they need to be dry and well seasoned.

I need a replacement stringthing that goes round the door to stop the air geting in - sorry can't remember proper name!!! I have a Town and Country Runswick inset stove, put in in 2010 and am very pleased with it. Can you tell me the nearest place to Stow-on-the-Wold Glos. that can supply same and maybe even arrange for someone to service it although I don't think it needs it. Failing that tell me the part number and website I can order it from. With many thanks Jane Morton

hi, just wondering what the top and side clearances to combustibles would be with the runswick mk 1 . would you recommend installing flexible flue up the chimney. Thanks

We would recommend a flexi liner for the performance of your stove.  The clearances top and side would be 8-10", the top should be higher.  Please consult with you Hetas engineer for the correct regulations on fitting.

Just had installed a Runswick Inset 4Kw. I have purchased the well seasoned logs but need to have a list of which solid fuel products can be burned in the stove. Thank you.

Hi There,

We recommend a smokeless fuel called homefire ovals.  But any smokeless fuel with a low bitumous content.  We do not recommend house coal because of the high gases.

Wendy

What are the top and side clearances to combustible materials for this stove?

Hi There,

Have sent you an email with the dimensions.
