The Town and Country multi-fuel stoves, designed by Alan and Philip Thurlow, have a clean burn system. This involves allowing the flow of hot air over the glass door to keep the glass clean.

Manufactured in Pickering, using only top quality British materials, and with British castings for the doors to bring out the detail.

List of features for the Welburn multi-fuel stove:

  • Multi-fuel
  • Height 773mm, Width 564mm, Depth 420mm
  • Maximum output 8 kw
  • Flue 6 inch diameter
  • Flue outlet Top or rear (interchangeable)
  • Body: Steel
  • Colour options: Black
  • Large stainless steel ash pan

The Welburn is a new stove, clean burning with a large curved glass, 6 - 8kW. Large curved glass door provides excellent view of the fire.

Combustion and fuel efficiency are excellent.

Any of the Town and Country Stoves can be placed on a plinth, if required, and this makes a handy storage space for a few logs or some kindling.

The multi-fuel grates will burn wood or solid fuel without any alteration to the stove or grate. If using logs, they need to be dry and well seasoned.

Not normally motivated to write these but we have just fitted a Town and Country to our new house and love it. It lights easily, is VERY easy to control. The most impressive feature is how well it keeps it's glass clean, we have only had 10 or so fires in it this winter but it only needed a quick clean to bring it back to new. With a thin layer of kiln dried hardwood burning in the bottom the flames seem to dance beautifully in the large glass screen!!
